Rhonda Reyes

Rhonda Jane Reyes, 46, of Independence, MO passed on to her heavenly home, Monday, August 27, 2007 after a courageous struggle with diabetes and liver disease. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2007 in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Vitas Hospice. Rhonda was born October 29, 1960 in Kansas City, MO to Ronnie G. and Muriel Y. (Witte) Dike. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Mrs. Reyes loved her family dearly and was passionate about baseball. Rhonda is survived by her husband Anthony David Reyes; sons Nicholas (Patience Preston) and Brandon Ottens; step-son David Reyes (Christina); step-daughters Jennifer Steward and Laura Reyes; grandchildren Vincent, Angelo, Tony, Ryland, Gabriel, Alyana, Devin and Mackenzie; sister Sarah Parker; father and mother-in-law Faustino “Chick” and Frances Reyes; sisters-in-law Rachel Coronado (Nick), Tina Carter (Nick), Lisa Dunnington (Sam), Luisa Reyes, Ruth Vasquez (Jesse), Virginia Kahmann (Steve); brothers-in-law Mark Reyes (Jill), Louie Reyes (Vickie), Joel Reyes; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
