Mildred Rhodelander

Mildred Ann Rhodelander, 79, of Independence, MO passed away August 30, 2011. The rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., followed by a visitation until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was born October 25, 1931 in Knob Noster, MO to Gregory W. and Mary Alice (Hochard) Feldkamp. On August 20, 1949, she married Robert E. Rhodelander at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Pleasant Hill, MO. Mildred was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert L. Rhodelander in 1961; and two brothers, Galen and Frederick Feldkamp. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Rhodelander; three children, Martha A. Rhodelander of Independence, MO, Carmen M. Kliefoth and husband Robert D. of Liberty, MO, John R. Rhodelander and wife Susan of Independence, MO; six grandchildren, Thomas, Gabriel, Nikolas and Alex Rhodelander, Brittany Johnson, Rachel Rhodelander; two great grandchildren, Evan and Ailene Rhodelander; one sister, Mary E. McCormack of Louisville, KS; and one brother, Michael J. Feldkamp of Belton, MO.
