Sandra Kay Rice (Hamous)

Sandra Kay Rice, 65, of Independence, MO passed away August 17, 2016. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Sandra was born November 20, 1950 in Natchitoches, LA to Dewitt and Viola (Trichell) Hamous. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dustin Kohler; and three sisters. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Charles Rice; daughter, Gabrielle Stuhlman; son, Justin Kohler; two brothers, Buzz Trichell and Jim Trichell; one sister, Marian Turner; and three grandchildren, Matt Johnson, Kara Johnson and Callie Stuhlman.
