Philip E. Rich

Philip E. Rich, age 91, passed away on March 30, 2017. Philip was born in Kansas City, MO on. July 11, 1925. He was a life time member of the Pipefitters Union, and worked in construction and at Honeywell. Philip served in the US Navy and was a veteran of WWII. Philip was preceded in death by his mother and father, Delbert and Jessie Rich of Kansas City. He is survived by his sister Joanne Ekstrom and her spouse (John), his children, Michael J. Rich (Annetta), Daniel M. Rich (Sherry), Sherri Litton (Ron), 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and nephew. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday April 1, 2017 at Carson Speaks Funeral Home in Independence, MO. Burial will be at the Mount Washington Cemetery.
