He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lellous & Bonnie (Wolfe) Dills, brother, Ronald Dills, brothers-in-law, Timothy Dujakovich and Archie Britt.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 40 yrs, Janice; daughter, Jami Dills, son, Bradley Dills, sisters Brenda Dujakovich and Joyce Britt, brother, Kevin Dills, 4 grandchildren, Elissa, Wyatt, Bella and Colton.

Richard’s life was characterized by his dedication to both his profession and his family, making a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Richard graduated from Van Horn High School and embarked on a career in the gaming industry at Universal Manufacturing, where he worked for 30 years until the facility was closed and merged with another company in 2013. He then transitioned to Billy Goat Industries, where he continued to demonstrate his skills as a mechanic until the end of his life. His career reflected his commitment to hard work and perseverance.

Beyond his professional life, Richard was known for his kind, selfless, and outgoing nature. He was extremely proud of his family and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His warmth and generosity made him a cherished friend.

In addition to his work, Richard was a ‘jack of all trades’; enjoying various hobbies that included fishing, hunting and working on his old car when he found the time. He loved traveling and taking trips with family and friends, which brought him joy and allowed him to connect with nature, reflecting his adventurous spirit and enjoying life to the fullest.

Richard will be remembered for his unwavering support to friends and family, his infectious enthusiasm for life and his ability to connect with those around him.
