Charles Richardson

Tim Richardson of Independence, MO passed away peacefully in his home July 19, 2010. Tim was a native of Independence and graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1966. He attended The University of Colorado on a full basketball scholarship and was a member of the 1969 Big 8 Championship team. As a three sport athlete in tennis, baseball, and basketball Tim was inducted into the William Chrisman Hall of Fame in 1998. He was an avid golfer, ran a successful family business, and cared for his family and friends. Tim will be missed for his big heart, humorous sarcasm, wisdom and drive by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by father Charles, mother Eleanor, and sister Pamela. Tim is survived by his wife Diana, sons Marcus and Matt, step son Eric, step daughter Sabrina, nieces Nicole and Lindsay, grandsons Simon and Nathan, and cousin Linda. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Thursday, July 22 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence. Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, July 23 at the Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
