Jason Richardson

Jason A. Richardson, 31, Independence, MO died unexpectedly Feb. 3, 2011. Services will be 10 am Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO; interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday at the funeral home.
Jason was born Jan. 3, 1980 in Independence. He attended Blue Springs High School. He has worked at the Quik n’ Tasty Quik Trip distribution center for two years. Jason loved playing and watching sports. He was a big fan of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and enjoyed playing softball. He was a member of the Blue Summit Baptist Church.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandmother Doris Richardson and aunt Toni Baker. He is survived by daughter Skylar Richardson; mother Susan Richardson and Bob; father Jeff Richardson and his son Kyle Richardson; sister Ashlee Duckett and husband Matthew; maternal grandparents Junior and Marilyn Wait; paternal grandfather Carl Richardson, all of Independence, MO; his companion Lelah Huff, Peculiar, MO; niece Gwen Duckett; nephew Vince Duckett, both of Independence, MO; aunt & uncle Robbi & Jeff Wait, Blue Springs, MO; and many cousins.
