Julia Martha Richardson, 92 of Chillicothe, formerly of Independence passed away Mon. Jun 20, 2005 at the Headrick Medical Center following a short illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Fri, Jun 24, 2005 at St. Mary�s Catholic Church, Indep. MO. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 -8:30 pm, Thursday at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO with the Rosary being said at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Richardson was born on Nov 1, 1912 in Jackson County, MO and had lived in Independence before moving to Chillicothe in 1998. She had been a seamstress with Wilson Sporting Goods Company for 41 years. She enjoyed bowling and sewing and was a passionate baker. The best times of her life was spent sharing it with family and friends, whether it was visiting, sending cards or making her Sunday one minute phone calls to each of them. Julia was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Everett Ashford, sisters Mary and Marge and by a niece Doris Jean. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Mary Crane, Son Dave, her beloved grandson Cliffie, Granddaughters, Lisa and Mindy. Great grandson, Dylann, several nieces and nephews, great niece, Shelly and by her cherished pet, Yellow.
