Linda Richeson

Linda Gail Richeson, 59, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 after a lengthy battle with cancer. A memorial visitation is scheduled for 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Herington Municipal Hospital, Digital Mammo Fund, 100 E. Helen, Herington, KS 67449. Linda was born June 21, 1951 in Concordia, KS to Glen and Frances (Peterson) Fudge. She retired in 2004 after 30 years of dedicated service with the Department of Health & Human Services. Ms. Richeson was in the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1976 until 1999. She loved traveling the world and documented her travels on a special map she kept. Linda is survived by her mother Frances Fudge; siblings Debbie Stewart, Stanley Fudge and wife Patti, Janetta Messmer and husband Ray; two nieces; two nephews; and by a host of cousins and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Glen; husband Larry.
