Charles William Richey

Charles William Richey, 78 of Independence, MO passed away Tue. Apr. 6, 2004 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 1:00 pm,- Fri. Apr. 9, 2004 at Beverly Hill Baptist Church, 1229 W. 31st, Independence, MO 64055. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Church Memorial Fund. Mr. Richey was born on Oct 5, 1925 to Charles and Alma (Roundtree) Richey in Roscoe, MO and has lived in the Independence area most of his life. He had been a Custodian with the Shawnee Mission School District for 17 years. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Richey is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nadine Richey. Two daughters, Betty Jean Richey and Mary Faye Sheffer and husband Charles, all of Independence, MO. One sister, Addie Lappine of Oak Ridge, OR.
