Almon Richison, 76, of Blue Springs, MO was reunited with his wife, Reva on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Burial will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
Almon was born December 16, 1933 in Gainesville, MO, the son of Houston Harmon and Delcie Ann (Beard) Richison. He was raised in Gainesville, MO before moving to Kansas City area in 1951. Almon was united in marriage to Reva L. Haskins, the love of his life, on December 11, 1954 and together raised four wonderful daughters. His life revolved around his family! Almon enjoyed being outdoors and working with small engines.
Almon is survived by his daughters, Rheanna Kay Chancellor, Vickey Smith, Connie Richison-Brooks and husband Frank, Kimmey Cochran and husband Darryl; grandchildren Michelle James, David Smith II, Robert Smith, Landon Smith, Megan Cochran, Cody Cochran; nine great-grandchildren; additional in-laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Reva on September 18, 2009; son-in-law Robert Chancellor in ’00; brothers, Audron, John, Carl, Claude and Earl Richison, Sr; granddaughter Julie.
