Helen Riddle

Helen Evangeline Riddle, 93, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away, Thursday, October 8, 2009 at John Knox Care Center. Services 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery in Chilhowee, MO. Visitation from 1:00 p.m., until service time Sunday at the chapel. Helen was born July 9, 1916 in Kingsville, MO to Verr Eldon Amos and Edith Rebecca (Weston) Peace. She was a devoted wife mother, grandmother and homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was married to Carl Riddle who preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include; 3 daughters, Martha Smith and her husband Terry of Oak Grove, MO, Linda Krueger and her husband, Wally of Bolivar, MO and Barbara Spies and her husband Gene of Lee’s Summit, MO; a sister, Verlin Doubledee of Lee’s Summit, MO; 7 grandchildren, Tracy Baldwin, Brad Smith, Mike Krueger, Lori Wulf, Jim Krueger, Chris Spies and Stephen Spies; 19 great grandchildren and a great great grandson. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Sarah Marie Fieker, Hazel Hooper and Billie Godden.
