William C. Riley, 86, Independence, MO passed away Friday, June 19, 2009 at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 22, 2009 at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
William was born December 29, 1922 in Kansas City, MO the son of Clarence E. and Ethel L. (Cronick) Riley. He married Carolina (Monk) on February 14, 1942. William retired from Lake City and was a member of the American Legion #499. William was preceded in death by his parents, step father, Olin Hedgepath; wife Carolina and son, William P. Riley.
Survivors include his sons, Michael, Keith and Kevin and his wife Shirley all of Independence; brother, Robert of Raytown; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
