Robert Clair Williams, affectionately known as "Bob" and nicknamed "Tiger Bob" at the racetracks, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2025, in Independence, Missouri, where he was born on July 4, 1941, to Ervin Edward Williams and Mildred Josephine (Beery) Williams. He lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and love for his family.

Bob graduated in June 1960 from Van Horn High School. After graduating high school, he pursued further education and earned certifications that shaped a fulfilling career. His commitment to his career as an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 124 was evident in his work ethic and the pride he took in his craft. Additionally, Bob was a member of the Army Reserves for two years during the Vietnam War and was discharged in 1967.

On November 10, 1962, he married his beloved wife, Mary Frances (Rozgay) Williams and shared many wonderful years together. In his leisure time, Bob was an avid racing enthusiast, relishing both the thrill of live local races and professional competitions. He enjoyed driving sprint cars and stock cars for various sponsors, a pursuit that brought him joy and allowed him to bond with his sons as they set up chassis together. Bob was also a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals, often watching games side by side with his family, sharing moments of triumph and camaraderie.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Frances Williams; sons, Robert Christian Williams, Vincent Williams (Brenda), Anthony Williams (Jane Ann), and Shane Williams (Tracy); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Donna Eason.
