Independence

Robin Eugenia Branam, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on September 27, 2025, in Independence, Missouri, after a brave battle with cancer. Born on March 18, 1960, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Robert Eugene Branam and Jane Alice (Shirey) Branam, Robin was the epitome of a loving spirit, who brought joy to everyone around her.

Robin graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1978; a proud moment that created a foundation for the vibrant life she would lead. In her professional life, she dedicated herself to her role as an ATM/SME Device Manager for Brinks Inc, where she worked for 29 years, and was recognized for her strong work ethic and her commitment to excellence. But it was not just her professional accomplishments that defined her; Robin was renowned for her vivacious personality and her love for her family and dogs. With a strong will and a playful spirit, she enjoyed pulling pranks and jokes on those she loved, often leaving them in stitches. Those who knew her understood that her sometimes intimidating demeanor masked an incredibly generous heart, as she would give selflessly to anyone in need.

Robin's lifelong passions included being an avid NASCAR fan, cheering enthusiastically for Jeff Gordon. She also had a keen interest in bowling and once achieved the extraordinary feat of a perfect score of 300. In her younger years, she was active in softball leagues and displayed her competitive spirit in many games of pool. These activities were love-filled moments that brought her much joy, often accompanied by the sweet sounds of her favorite country music, particularly the harmonies of The Judds.

Robin leaves behind her devoted siblings: her brother, Harold Stufflebean, and her sister, Linda Ingram, her sister-in-laws, Nora Meeks and Sharon Stufflebean, her 2 half-sisters, Barbara Yarbrough and Cathy Cooper, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews whose lives she touched deeply.

Robin joins her dearly departed family members in eternal rest: her father, Robert Branam; her mother, Jane Branam; her brother, Jr. Meeks; her brother, Gary Stufflebean; her sister-in-law, Kathy Stufflebean; and her brother-in-law, John Ingram. Their memories will forever remain intertwined in the hearts of those who loved her.

A memorial visitation honoring Robin's life will be held on October 10, 2025, at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, MO, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place at 3:30 PM, with a reception to follow at the Truman Memorial Building. The family encourages all attendees to wear attire representing the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, or Robin's favorite color, blue, as a tribute to her vibrant spirit. Donations in honor of Robin's love for her dogs can be made to Wayside Waifs.

Robin Eugenia Branam will be missed dearly, but her legacy of love, laughter, and strength will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
