Independence

Robin Yvette Carey, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly in Independence. She was born in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, on April 18, 1960. Robin was a dedicated file clerk for AHTNA, where she worked diligently. She found joy and fulfillment in every aspect of her life - from her career to her hobbies. Robin had a deep love for her family and friends, always putting them above everything else. Her faith was unshakable, and she cherished her time at church. She adored her children and grandchildren, considering them to be her proudest accomplishments. In addition to her work and family life, Robin enjoyed music and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. One of her favorite dishes was BBQ, which she happily shared with those around her.

Robin's sweet disposition and loving nature touched everyone she met. She also found solace in nature through activities like fishing and camping. Robin's memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family members; children, Leroy (Patty) Holler III, Renee Decker, Richard Carey, Jr., Paula (Shaquan) Blanton, Darla (KC) Class; grandchildren, Hannah, Abaghale, Madison, Clara, Mordecai, Nastasia, Alex, Killian, Katara, Shaquan Jr., Kiara, Richard III, and Jaxson; mother, Joyce Troll; Siblings, Darrell Troll Jr., Kim Richey, Stacey Baldwin, Mark Webber; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Dorsey Lees; and brother, Todd Webber. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
