Florence Adalee Robinson, 70, of Kansas City, MO passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at her home. A visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Friday, November 28 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday at the chapel with burial at Floral Hills Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Adalee was born Nov. 10, 1938 in Guion, Arkansas to Wilson Estes and Marie Teague. She moved to the Kansas City area in 1958 where she began working for AT&T. In 1960 she married James Robinson and had three children: Gregory, Kathryn and Kimberly. For many years Adalee has run the family business, J.L. Robinson Construction. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and sewing. Adalee will be missed by her family for her strong and caring nature.
Adalee is survived by her husband of 48 years James Robinson; children: Gregory Robinson, Kathryn Swan and husband Robert, and Kimberly Pyle and husband Michael; six grandchildren: James, Vanessa, Dylan, Jacob, Joshua, and Jeremy; siblings: Wilson Teague and wife Janie, John Teague and wife Janet, and Tom Teague and wife Marilyn; and a host of extended family and friends. Her sister, Wilma Jo Williams, and an infant brother, Samuel James Teague preceded her in death.
