Imogene Robison

Imogene Robison, 91, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at The Groves Living Center in Independence. Imogene is survived by three sons: James Wendel Robison and wife Liz of England, Michael L. Robison and wife Carol, and Charles A. Robison and wife Pam, all of Independence; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, James L. McEldery; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldron L. Robison and great grandson, Jay Miller.
Imogene married Eldron Robison on December 24, 1936; they were married for 67 years. She obtained a BS in Education from CMSU and a Master of Arts in Religion from Park University. Imogene was a lifelong active member of the Community of Christ where she served as an Elder.
Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM, Monday, Oct. 22 at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Outreach International, The Groves Hospice, or College Park Community of Christ.
