Johnna Jane Rockhold, 74 of Independence, MO passed away, Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m., until service time Saturday at chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the KC Hospice House. Johnna was born July 13, 1936 to Forrest A. and Ruth Jane (Snow) Garrison. She graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1955 and has been a long time area resident. She had worked as a comptroller for Brogden Tool and Dye for 15 years and retired in 1994. She was a member of the KC Baptist Temple where she was a Sunday School teacher and the childrens choir leader. She was married to Larry Rockhold on August 3, 1956, he survives of the home. Other survivors include; a daughter, Cheryl Rader and her husband David of Blue Springs, MO; a son, John Rockhold and his wife Robin of Independence, MO; 4 grandchildren, Leslie Clark and her husband Bryan, Michael Rader, Bailey Rockhold and Cole Rockhold and a great grandson, Jackson Clark.
