Alyssa Rogers

Alyssa Anne Marie Rogers, 20, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Cremation. Alyssa was born December 30, 1991 in Lee’s Summit, MO. She received a heart and lung transplant on January 9, 2010. Alyssa was known for her unconditional love and compassion for everyone. She was a gifted poet. Alyssa is survived by her parents Jamie and Shelley; siblings Austin, Bailey, Tristan and Lexus; mother Mary; numerous grandparents; a host of aunts and uncles; and many cousins and special friends.
