Jeanne Marie Rollins

Jeanne Marie (Shamblin) Rollins, 64, of Belton, MO passed away August 30th, 2022, surrounded by her family. Services will be 11am Sunday September 4th, 2022, at Carson-Speaks Capel: 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will begin at 10 am before the service. Jeanne was born October 03, 1957, in Charleston, West Virginia. She retired from the VA medical center in Kansas City. She was involved in the Optimist Club of Sugar Creek and Raytown holding many roles over the years. She is survived by her father, John Shamblin and spouse Peggy Shamblin of Tavares, FL; her daughters and spouses Megan and Marc Dykeman of Independence, MO and Lacy and Steven Adkins of Blue Springs, MO; her son and spouse James and Kira Richardson; her siblings and spouses Rob and Tammy Shamblin of Athens, TN and Johnna Shamblin and Leigh Perryman of Tavares, FL; grandchildren Scott Richardson, Chance Allee, Haile Dykeman, Rebecca Richardson, Taelor Dykeman, T.J. Richardson, Damon Adkins, and Zia Adkins; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Ellen Shamblin and husband Douglas Rollins.
