Robert Romine, Sr.

Robert L. “Bob” Romine, Sr., 69, Kansas City, MO passed away June 21, 2010. Services will be at 10 am, Friday, June 25, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
Bob was born Nov. 22, 1940 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Northeast High School in 1958. He then entered the U.S. Marines Corps where he served until 1964. Bob then began working for the Missouri Pacific Railroad and began a forty-year career ending with his retirement as the yard manager for Union Pacific in 2005. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. He loved to hunt deer and turkey and fish at his place at Truman Lake.
Bob is survived by his son Rob Romine, Jr., Kansas City, MO; brother Pat Romine and wife Judy, Weatherby, MO; sister Judy Scott and husband Kenneth, Lowry City, MO; and sister Sharon Silvers and husband Edward, Independence MO.
