Ronald Eugene Childers, known to his loved ones as Ron, passed away on June 14, 2023 in Liberty, Missouri. Born on September 22, 1953, in Fayette, Missouri, Ron's life was filled with laughter, joy, and love.

Ron graduated from Truman High School and embarked on a fulfilling career at the ABF Truck Terminal. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 41. Working with unwavering dedication and commitment, he carved out a name for himself in the industry through his exceptional work ethic and expertise. 

Ron was a man with a captivating personality. Described as funny and jovial, he had a remarkable ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him. Ron was quick-witted and had a unique talent for making people feel comfortable in his presence.

When Ron wasn't working or making others laugh, he found solace in various hobbies and interests. He relished spending time in nature while fishing and hunting. His passion for old trucks was evident to all who knew him. Whether it was tinkering under the hood or taking them for nostalgic drives down country roads, Ron's love for these classic vehicles was undeniable.

Ron also enjoyed staying active by engaging in friendly competitions such as throwing horseshoes and shooting pool. These pastimes not only brought him joy but also created countless memories shared with friends and family. His warm-hearted nature made these gatherings even more special.

Ron is survived by his brothers, Gary Childers and Donald Childers (Janice), and sister, Judy Skaggs (Pat).

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandy; father, Eugene Childers; mother, Dorothy Childers and brother, David Childers.

Although Ron is no longer with us physically, his spirit lives on through the countless memories he leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
