Deanna Rose

Deanna Rose, 70, of Blue Springs, MO passed away August 27, 2013. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, at the Suburban Chapel, with burial to follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Deanna was born July 18, 1943 in Warrensburg, MO to Dee Aubrey and Freida Arvilla (Billingsley) Horine. She was passionate about flowers and owned and operated Dee Rose Floral for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Lee Rose; and brother-in-law, Ken Hutsell. She is survived by her two daughters, Vickey Bowling and husband Brian, Onya Carpenter and husband Kent; sister, Dottie Hutsell; brother, Daniel Horine and wife Martha; four grandchildren, Amber “Nicole” Geib, Jesse Lile, Amanda Carpenter and Luke Carpenter; and one great grandchild, Kendra Geib.
