Robbie Ross, 66, of Kansas City, MO peacefully passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 24 at Kansas City Community Church, 5901 Leavenworth Rd., Kansas city, KS 66104.
Robbie was born February 4, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to William and Vivian (Springfield) Sullivan. She received her Masters degree in Business from Rockhurst University. She worked in various capacities, but most recently was a development specialist for the City of Kansas City, Missouri. She was a woman who knew how to do everything; enjoying sewing, landscaping, reading, fishing, and traveling. Robbie was known for her strength and caring for others. She was passionate about education and taught citizenship and Adult Basic Education, thriving on the betterment of everyone. Robbie loved her family dearly and leaves behind her daughter, Stephanie L. Ross; special nephew, William Lee Sullivan Smith; sister, Cleo Rozena Johnson; two granddaughters: Tyler Lynn and Cydney Elise; sister, Karen Rush and husband Libe; and a host of extended family and friends.
