Helen Marie Rowlett, 68, Sibley, MO passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 17, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Helen’s life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO. Burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Helen was born June 2, 1942 in Novinger, MO the daughter of Harold and Alice (Ishmael) Davis. She was a homemaker and lived her life for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting Betty Boop memorabilia and china dolls.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Rowlett, Sr. in 2003; sister, JoAnn Newton, mother Alice Staggs and her father Harold Davis.
Survivors include her children, Marvin Rowlett, Jr. of Sibley; Becky Reaves of Ida, KS; Dennie Rowlett, Theresa Cook, and Terry Rowlett all of Sibley; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Staggs of Blue Summit; Bonnie Newport of Independence; brothers, Gordon Davis of Kansas City; Randy Staggs of Independence; and Howard Davis of Kansas City
