Mary Jane Rucker

Mary Jane Rucker, 55, of Lee�s Summit, MO, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on April 9, 2006. Services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be 3:00 pm Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Brown�s Grove Cemetery in Burdett, KS. The family will greet friends Tuesday, April 11, 2006 from 6-8:00 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mary Jane was born September 20, 1950 in Nashville, KS to Herman and Angie (Laggart) Becker. After graduating from Attica, KS High School she moved to Wichita, KS where she was employed with Southwestern Bell. She married her soul-mate Chris Rucker in 1977. They made their home in Lee�s Summit, MO where she worked for the school district. Mary Jane was blessed in having made many wonderful and lasting friends, but she considered her greatest accomplishment to be her two loving sons, Joshua and Cory. Survivors include husband Chris of the home, sons Joshua and Cory, both of Lee�s Summit; brothers Jim Becker of Waxahachie, TX, Robert Becker of Temple, TX, and Mark Becker of Murdock, KS; sisters Nancy Klabzuba of Wichita, KS, Peggy Becker of Topeka, KS, and Jana Pinney of Hays, KS.
