Peggy G. Russell, 83, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Rosewood Health Care Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 14500 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to The Groves Hospice. Peggy was born January 27, 1924 in Conroe, TX to Asa and Cora (Pilgreen) Walker. She was a charter member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. Peggy loved family gatherings. Mrs. Russell was a member of Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter Billie Buntin; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Russell in 2005, and her sister June.
