Ryan Wayne Sinnard

Ryan Wayne Sinnard “Catfish” 36 years old unexpectedly passed away on August 5, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO.

Born July 12, 1987 in KCMO to Stacy Harris and Timothy Sinnard. 

Ryan was raised by his dad Tim and mom Karen. Where he attended Mill Creek Elementary and then graduated from William Chrisman High School Class of 2005. His mom Stacy provided him a brother and 3 sisters that he loved, and loved spending time with and caring for them. He was also his Grandma Dorothy’s pride and joy. On his 15th birthday Ryan Wayne rode his bicycle to the Examiner in Independence for his first job. He worked other various jobs like Quik Trip, Major Brands, Comcast and finally Building Solutions before he was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis, which left him completely unable to work. As many know this disease did not keep him down. He loved the redneck life. Hunting, fishing and loving every minute of it. He was also a huge Chiefs fan and enjoyed getting together with buddies to watch the game. 

Ryan held many roles in his life. He was a devoted father, spouse, son, grandson, brother and best friend. To know Ryan was to know that his very blunt opinions and advice came from the heart. If you wanted the honest truth you would go to him. You could often get the honest truth even if you didn’t ask.

Survived by his spouse LeAnna and daughter Laila. His parents Tim (Sherry), Stacy and Karen (Justin). Grandma Renae. Brother Brandon, Sisters Tiffany (Dustin) and Rachel. Nieces Kylie and Shania and nephew Brandon. Aunts Holly (Joey) Rhonda (Dan) Brenda (Ben) Uncles Caleb, Jeremy, Jared and Jake (Michelle) His Best Friends (his brothers) James, Eric, Chris and Andy.

Proceeded in death by his baby sister Rebecca, Grandma Dorothy and Grandpa Larry. Grandma Shelia and his P-Pa and his best friend Princess along with his Uncle Tony and Aunt Carla. 

Gravesite Services will be held Tuesday, August 15th 2023 10:00am Woodlawn Cemetery located at 701 S Noland Rd Independence, MO. Gathering to follow at 14001 E 35th St Independence, MO 64055.
