Lois L. “Renie” Sattler, 82 of Gladstone, MO passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the North Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Lois was born October 21, 1929 in Shubert, NE to Harvey and Dora Belle (Evans) Crow and spent most of her life in the Kansas City area. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed arts and crafts, especially making wreaths, embroidering and playing cards. She was catholic by faith and had attended St. Raphael Catholic Church. She was a member of the F.O.E. and the Loyal Order of the Moose. She was married to Warren Sattler on February 14, 1948; he preceded her in death on February 27, 2008. Survivors include; 2 sons, Richard Sattler and his wife Ronda of Kansas City, MO and Ronald Sattler and his wife Mary of Pleasant Valley, MO; 3 sisters, Doris Yuratovich of Gladstone, MO, Gale Lindberg of Independence, MO and Phyllis Myers of Eldon, MO and 3 grandchildren, Damon Sattler, Gregory Sattler and Matthew Sattler.
