Michael Saxton

Michael T. Saxton, 55, of Independence MO passed away Thursday, March 14th 2013. A visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19th at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18090 E 39th Street, Independence. A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Independence, MO.
Michael was born May 7th 1957 to Melvin and Donna (Rogers) Saxton. He graduated from William Chrisman high school and worked for many years in residential construction as a general contractor. Although a reserved man, he enjoyed baseball and playing pool with his friends. Michael loved his family and had many life long friends. He is loved and will be missed.
Michael is survived by son, Adam Saxton (Lindsey) of Albuquerque, NM; and granddaughter, Tatum Rylan; father, Melvin Saxton (Darlene) of Blue Springs, MO; brother, John Saxton (Kim) of Independence, MO; and many nieces and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by mother, Donna (Rogers) Saxton, and infant brother, Melvin N.
