Natalie Scaccia

Natalie Scaccia, 95, of Lee’s Summit, MO, formerly of Port Richey, FL, Raytown, MO and Independence, MO, passed away February 10, 2009 at Wilshire at Lakewood Health Center. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, at St. Sabina Catholic Church, Belton, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Michael Wheat Library c/o the Kehoe School in Kenner, LA. Natalie was born May 23, 1913 in Omaha, NE, to Antonio and Angelina Sferrazzo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, John L. Scaccia; daughter, Frances Marie; grandson, Michael Wheat; sister, Frances Sferrazzo; brother, Frank Sferrazzo; and brother, Fred Sferrazzo. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Sue Scaccia of Belton, MO; grandchildren, Chris and Doug Tuttle, Becky and Kevin Peck and David Steffens; great-grandchildren, Dani, Erin and Michelle Tuttle, Trevor and Spencer Peck; a sister, Frances Ann Lombardo of Morgan Hill, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
