Patricia Ann “Pat” Schmidt, 71, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. A celebration of Pat’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
Pat was born November 1, 1940 in Stockton, CA. She retired from Kids-R-Us Clothing as a manager. She enjoyed reading, and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Pat was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Shelton; one brother; and her parents.
Survivors include her loving husband Roger of 42 years; sons, Michael Shelton and wife Kathleen, Richard Shelton, Jonathan Shelton; Bill Schmidt; daughters, Christine Schmidt, Stella McKissack; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers.
