Laura Lavon Schnakenberg (Jones)

Lavon Schnakenberg, 93, of Independence, MO passed away January 8, 2020. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. service on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1400 W. Sheley Rd, Independence, MO 64052. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Lavon was born April 16, 1926 in Mountain Home, AR to Johnie and Grace (Ward) Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 36 years, Warner Schnakenberg; and her sister, Lavern. She is survived by grandson, David; cousin, Jane; niece, Joylyn; and the Doromal Family: Cara, Dennis, Kristle, Leah and Michael.
