Robert Schreier

Robert Lee “Bob” Schreier, 77, of Lacygne, KS, formerly of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Olathe Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Bob was born September 3, 1933 in Higginsville, MO to Earl and Rosina (Urban) Schreier. Mr. Schreier was an active and faithful member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He retired in 1990 from the Kansas City School District after 36 years of dedicated service as a Supervisor of Ground Maintenance. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids. Bob is survived by his daughter Karen Smith; sons Bobby Schreier and wife Wendy, Brian Schreier; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother Roger Schreier.
