William Tommy "Bill" Schutz

William Tommy "Bill� Schutz, 71 of Independence, MO passed away Fri, Dec. 24, 2004 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 2:00 pm, Tue, Dec 28, 2004 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO. Burial in Oakland Cemetery. Mr. Schutz was born on Feb 18, 1933 to Willie and Alpha Schutz in Bald Knob, AR and had lived in the Independence area most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his family and was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He had been an assemblyman at AGCO for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He was preceded in death by his father and a son, William D. Schutz. Bill is survived by his wife, Carol D. Schutz. Three children, Debbie Schutz, John Schutz and Steven Schutz, all of Independence, MO. Two brothers, Glynn Schutz of Grandview, MO and Raymond Schutz of Batesville, AR. Three sisters, Betty McAdams of Bradford, AR, Mary Mason of Oak Grove, MO and Carolyn Newfome of Indiana. His stepmother, Clara Schutz of Lynn, AR. Two grandsons and three great grandchildren.
