Anthony “Tony” Sciolaro, 99, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 at New Haven Nursing Home. A visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM Saturday, March 14 with services beginning at 11:00 AM at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence; burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Tony was born March 14, 1909 in Kansas City, MO. He married Helen May Dye in 1928 and together raised three children. Tony worked for Roma Bakery as a route supervisor for 35 years. Tony was preceded in death by his wife Helen May and is survived by his children: Edna May (Sciolaro) Johnson, Genevieve Filbert, and Anthony W. Sciolaro; and a host of extended family and friends.
