Ryan Michael Scott

Ryan Michael Scott, 37, of Independence, MO passed away on April 2, 2016. Visitation will be from 1-3pm on Saturday, April 9, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, followed by a celebration of life service at 3 pm. Ryan is remembered as a generous, loving and forgiving son, grandson, brother, uncle and nephew who would willingly help a friend in need. He loved music and often played original compositions on his guitar. One of his greatest joys was playing with his beloved niece and nephew, Taryn and Rowen, and spending time with his special angel, Ginna. Ryan is survived by his mother, Dawn Wise; father, Kevin Scott; sisters, Brooke Wise and Stevie Scott; brother, Grant Wise; grandparents, Merilee Edson and Norman Scott and numerous aunts, uncles and other extended family. We love and will miss you dearly, Ry. Rest in peace.
