Charlene Louise Selby

Charlene Louise Selby, 55 of Independence, MO passed away Thu, Sep 1, 2005 at the Moberly Medical Center. Graveside Services will be 11:00 am, Wed, Sep 7, 2005 at the Eskridge Cemetery, Eskridge, KS. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm, Tuesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Indep. MO. Contributions are suggested to Comprehensive Mental Health or to a local Animal Shelter. Charlene was born on Mar. 17, 1950 to Paul and Inez (McKimmey) Selby in Topeka, KS and had lived in Eskridge, KS, Mobile, AL and San Antonio, TX before moving to Independence in 2001. She was a wonderful caregiver and truly enjoyed taking care of the Elderly. She had a passion for children, animals, painting by number and doing crafts. She was of the Baptist faith. Charlene is survived by four sisters, Clara E. Diaz of Independence, MO, Paula J. Richards of Aurora, CO, M. Ann Hetrick of Mobile, AL and E. Ruth Martin of George West, TX. Also by numerous nieces and nephews.
