It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce that Sharon Ambrosi, age 79, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 17th after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family and friends.Sharon was a beacon of kindness, strength, and grace. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, she lived a life full of compassion, laughter, and dedication to those she loved. Whether it was through her quiet encouragement or heartfelt hugs, Sharon had a way of making everyone feel seen and cherished.
Sharon was a beloved mother, grandmother, sibling, aunt, daughter and friend, who found joy in the simple moments: watching sporting events, sharing stories over tea or ice cream, or spending time with or talking on the phone with her grandchildren. Sharon’s greatest gift was the love she so freely gave—and the family and friendships built on that love will carry her spirit forward.Throughout her life, Sharon was known for her generous spirit, devotion to her family, service in the community, and her faith.
She will be remembered for her warmth, wisdom, resilience, and unconditional love and deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.Sharon is survived by her daughter Heather Hutchinson, husband Mark Hutchinson and their children Abigail and Alyssa, her daughter Danielle Carrillo, husband Frank Carrillo and her children Jacob and Megan, her siblings Allen Johnson, Shelly Williams, and Christy Meyer, who will continue to honor her memory by living their lives with the same generosity and warmth that defined her.She is preceded in death by her parents Harlan and Virginia Johnson, and brother Steve Johnson.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday September 26th, 2025 at Speaks Chapel on 39th Street in Independence, Missouri 64055. Visitation is at 9:00 am followed by services at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery. All are welcome to attend where we will gather to remember, to mourn, and most importantly—to love, just as Sharon taught us.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Little Red Door Cancer Agency in Indiana or City of Hope Cancer Center in Irvine in her memory. Rest peacefully, dear Sharon. You will be forever in our hearts.
