Shauna Marie Howe passed away on November 2, 2023, at her home in Sedalia, Missouri surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 23, 1966, in Independence, Missouri to Jack and Velma Thomas.

 

Shauna had a career as a pharmaceutical technician, dedicating herself to helping others. Her knowledge and expertise in the field were commendable, earning her the admiration and respect of both colleagues and patients alike.

 

Outside of her professional life, Shauna was known for her kind and compassionate nature. She had a heart full of love and never hesitated to open her doors to stray animals in need. Her home became a sanctuary for these creatures who found comfort and care under her nurturing touch.

 

Shauna possessed an innate talent for gardening and had a green thumb that seemed almost magical. Her house flourished with vibrant plants of all varieties, reflecting her deep connection to nature. She found solace among her plants, cultivating beauty with every stroke of her hand.

 

One of Shauna's proudest accomplishments was raising her two children, Ian Howe and Alyssa Howe. They brought immense joy into her life and were a true testament to the strength and dedication she possessed as a mother. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and Shauna's love for them knew no bounds.

 

Shauna's memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family, including her son Ian, her daughter Alyssa, her sister Coy Arreguin and her husband Frank, her sister Jackie Thomas, her brother Travis Thomas and his wife Deana, as well as her nephews Jack and Nicholas Troll, Tyler Thomas, and Michael and Mark Arreguin. Their lives were enriched by Shauna's presence, and the love she bestowed upon them will continue to guide and inspire.

 

Services to honor Shauna's life will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023. A memorial visitation will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Carson-Speaks Chapel located at 1501 W Lexington Ave in Independence, Missouri. This gathering will allow friends and family to pay their respects and share stories of cherished memories of a remarkable woman.

 

Shauna Marie Howe was a strong, loving, and kind individual who leaves behind a legacy of compassion and warmth. She touched the lives of many with her selflessness and genuine care for others. The world has lost a beautiful soul, but Shauna's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace.
