Curtis Sheall

Curtis Lee Sheall, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, January 05, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3726 Lee’s Summit Road, Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass from 9-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to City Union Mission, 1100 E. 11th St., Kansas City, MO 64106 or St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Curt was born May 7, 1921 in Scranton, KS to John and Nora (Stowe) Sheall. He had a long and successful career with First Federal Bank retiring as President and CEO. Mr. Sheall was active in the Boy Scouts of America and was an avid Chiefs and Royals fans. He enjoyed spending time at his home at the Lake of the Ozarks. Curt is survived by his son Robert Michael Sheall and wife Anne; granddaughter Melissa Lee Keller and husband Joshua; great-grandchildren Nicholas Lee and Isabella Anne Keller; sister-in-law Rita Van Camp. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Kathryn Ann (Mandl) Sheall in April 2011.
