Charles Allen Shearer, 77, Kansas City, MO passed away Monday, March 4, 2013.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Wayside Waifs.
Charles was born May 8, 1935 in Sedalia, MO the son of Wilbur D. and Laverna S. (Berry) Shearer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Charles retired from the TWA Overhaul Base as a lead man. Survivors include daughter, Rhonda Walsh and husband Bill; son, Chuck Shearer and wife Carrie; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and brother, Bob Shearer. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Jackie Shearer; brothers, Don and Gene Shearer; and his parents.
