Shirley Ann Fleener

Shirley Ann Fleener passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2023. She was 87 years old. Shirley was born to Ben High and Vada High on July 19, 1936 in Berryville, Arkansas.

Shortly after graduating from Nevada High School she married the love of her life and best friend Robert. They spent almost 70 years creating memories together.

Shirley enjoyed cooking and worked with the Independence Public School system, creating tasty treats daily for over 25 years before retiring in 1994. During her leisure time she loved to craft, crochet, go fishing and/or do anything outdoors. Above all though, she enjoyed her time with her family. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and never took a day forgranted. Her presence will be missed deeply by those she loved.

Shirley is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; daughter, Terressa Yeager (Mark); sons, Terry (Kathy) and Russell Fleener (Lisa) ; 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
