Tom was born on November 25, 1962, in Brookfield, MO to Thomas L. and Sharon (Teeter) Shoemaker. Soon after attending Ft. Osage High School, Tom began a successful career spanning over 40 years. He started out in the heavy equipment business starting at a young age working with his father and brother. He then worked for Midwest Remediation Inc. as a Field Superintendent from 1995 through 2005. Tom had many skills and continued in the environmental construction industry for the majority of his career. Tom had many certifications in the environmental industry. Most importantly, Tom loved with his whole heart, loving his family more than anything. His love for his mother, father, siblings, children and grandchildren was massive. He always did anything he could to help others. His heart was huge. He lived life to its fullest, loved to laugh and crack jokes. We were all blessed to have known him.
