Zela R. Shrable (Coleman)

Zela Shrable, 84, of Independence, MO passed away October 3, 2015. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Friday, October 9, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO. Burial will be held at New Salem Cemetery. Zela was born April 17, 1931 in Gid, AR to Verlin and Ravie (Stroud) Coleman. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Vela Coleman; four other siblings, Nadine Frisby, Janet Caraway, Gale Coleman and Billy Coleman; as well as grandson, Craig Downey. She is survived by her three children, Sheila Foster, Susan Fairfield, Mike Shrable; three grandchildren, Andi Foster, J.J. Foster, Breanna Shrable; two brothers, Paul Wayne Coleman and Gerald Coleman. Zela was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed.
