Betty L. (Alexander) Sidebottom, 81, Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family.
Betty was born January 28, 1928 the daughter of Albert F. and Georgia (Craig) Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey L. Sidebottom, Sr in 1993, and son, Harvey L. Sidebottom, Jr. on May 9, 2009.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Savoie of Independence; grandchildren, Bryon Fisher of Independence; and Jennifer Savoie of Greenfield, MA; great grandchildren, Sean A. Fisher of Independence; and Gabriella L. Willis of Greenfield, MA; and sister in law, Lillian Smothers of Sugar Creek, MO.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2009 at Speaks Buckner Chapel; 300 Adams St. Buckner, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Friday. Graveside services for Betty and her son, Harvey will both be held at Buckner Hill Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Cancer Action or Kansas City Hospice.
