David D. Simmons

David Dorn Simmons, 67 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday evening at his residence. Cremation is planned and a Celebration of David’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Hill Park, 2201 S. Maywood Ave., Independence, MO, 64052. David was born June 26, 1955 in New Castle, PA to Dorn and Geraldine (Bartberger) Simmons. He grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from public schools there and has been a long time area resident. He had worked in the warehouse for Independence Hydraulics for a number of years.
