Thelma Sintz

Thelma R. Sintz, 91 of Independence, MO passed away, Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Rosewood Health Center. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in The Community Room at The Groves. Cremation. Private inurnment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Thelma was born September 24, 1917 in New Trenton, IN to John and Edith (Rudicil) Sintz. She spent her childhood in Middletown, OH. Over the years she used her secretarial skills at Graceland College, Port of Seattle, Butler Manufacturing Co., Girl Scouts of USA, National Secretaries Association, and Community of Christ as Secretary to the Council of Twelve. Thelma loved to travel and research the genealogy of family ancestors. She is survived by two sisters, Marjorie Cochran of Blue Springs, Norma Byrn of Independence; one brother Edward Sintz of Charlotte, NC; and by a host of nieces, nephews and her many wonderful friends.
