Danielle Sloan

Danielle Nicole Sloan, 22, of Lenexa, KS passed away, Sunday, June 15, 2008 at her residence. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Northland Cathedral 101 N.W. 99th St. Kansas City, MO 64155. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Friday at the church. Donations may be made to the Kansas City Hospice. Danielle was born April 15, 1986 in St. Charles, MO to David and Stephni (Finzoll) Sloan. She graduated with honors from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 2005, and was currently attending the University of Kansas with a double major in Business and a minor in Psychology. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at KU and recently studied abroad in Italy. Danielle enjoyed sports including, sky-diving, snow skiing, traveling and loved all animals including her Maltese puppy Martini. She was a Big Sister volunteer and was starting a Hallmark internship this summer semester. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Danielle is survived by; her father, David Sloan of Lee’s Summit, MO; her maternal grandmother, Carol Finzoll of Kansas City, MO; 3 uncles, Mark Finzoll, Gerald Sloan and Steve Sloan; fraternal grandparents, Jerry and Jan Sloan; an aunt, Barbara Kannady and a host of cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Sloan on April 17, 2007 and her mother Stephni Sloan on June 3, 2008.
